Amtrak train trip from San Antonio to LA

Sally and I along with friemds Dave and Dian Wallis departed San Antonio on the Sunset Limited at 2:45 A.M. Wednesday night. Thanks Wayne for dropping us off at the station.  This was the first time that Sally and I had ridden the rails for long distance travel.

The roomette was pretty small with two chairs facing each other that made up into a bed for sleeping plus it had an overhead fold down bed
