Lucy and I sneaked away to Brazos Bend State park on Saturday afternoon. It is hard to believe but Lucy is already nine years old and she had been wanting to learn to take photos with an adult camera. So I set her up with my Canon Rebel and a 55-270 zoom lens and let her take all the photos she wanted.(That's the great thing about digital photography). I did a little coaching but she did all the manipulations. It turns out that she has a "great eye" and captured some really nice wildlife shots. I am so proud of her...
Check out Lucy Varnell's premiere exhibit of wildlife photographs:(Identification by Poppy)
