Valley of the Temples - World Heritage Site - Agrigento (Greek name was Akragas)
Temple of Concordia(built from 510-430 B.C.) by Greeks
Concordia is the best preserved Temple in the Valley probably due to the fact that it later became a Christian church dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul

Duomo of Catania - The story of St Agatha is quite inspiring as she was tortured to death in 251 at the age of 20 for teaching Christianity to children.
