Sally went with me today to take photos while I was removing honeybees and their combs from the eave of a house. The bees were very gentle considering that I was destroying their home. As I cut off the honeycombs, I placed them as gentle as possible into a standard hive box and now have my fingers crossed that I got the queen in there. If the queen is in the box then the rest of the bees will follow her. At that point, I will close them up tight and move them to a new location.
Honeycomb cut and saved
was the queen there?
