Visiting New England
We timed our trip to New England to be in the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire to see the colors of the autumn leaves. Our timing was just perfect as we hit the peak of the color change. During our week, we drove up Mount Washington Toll Road, hiked up to the summit of Mount Mansfield in Vermont, did many short hikes, drove the very popular Kancamagus Scenic Drive, visited the awesome Franconia flume gorge, toured a sugar house, and visited with family, Dana and Adam Keiser, who drove up from Concord. Sally and Dana are first cousins that hadn't seen each other in 15 years so there was a lot of catching up to do.
