This beautiful caterpillar is danger!

The io moth caterpillar is very attractive but it’s bristles are venomous. The sting(which is really a touch from the bristles) is painful. Similar to an asp in the degree of pain inflicted. If stung, the best first aid is to use scotch tape to remove the bristles. Press the tape down on  the painful area and when you pull up the tape the bristles that were stuck to you will be pulled away and bring relief. Then use a cold press or baking soda/water paste on the affected area.
