Visiting hillcountry friends

Hey Lab Rats!  I took a trip to the Texas Hill Country the last couple of days. First stop was Boerne and visiting Mike Sanders where we relived some of our exciting canoeing and backpacking trips. We decided that Big Bend is calling us to come back in the fall.

Hey Smithson Valley friends! Spent the night in Boerne with alumni Erwin Lehmann and caught up on family(mostly grand kids) and all those spelunking and snake hunting trips around the state. Monday morning we drove out to Pontotoc area northwest of Llano to visit Steve Krammer and his wife, Carrie, at their organic farm. Steve is an amazing inventor and Erwin and I witnessed his latest creations - electric tractor and cucumber picking trailer rig. Carrie treated us to a scrumptious lunch and we idled the afternoon away in conversation about life's mysteries.

Steve is a pretty tall dude
