Sally and I are excited about our newest backyard guests. We have been at this address for eight years and have never seen a bluebird in our backyard until yesterday. All of a sudden, we have two pair that are building nests in our unoccupied Martin house. They are Eastern Bluebirds. What a treat! The female is the one with a mouth full of straw as she is busy building the nest.
