Disney World was advertised as the ultimate family vacation, so we drove to Florida to experience this eighth wonder of the world. In 1987 they had recently added Epcot so we did Magic Kingdom and the newly opened Epcot. We took my teenage sister with us. The kids were just the right ages and had a blast on all the rides except Space Mountain. Roller coaster through the darkness was too scary for one of us.
Making it a full Florida experience, we went to Cape Canaveral, Marine Land, visited cousins and played at many beaches along the way.

On the entirety of our trip, this six year old collected styrofoam hamburger boxes ... Hardy's, Wendy's, McDonald's, Burger King, etc.... and she ended up with quite a large stack.
