South Fork, Colorado with David and Vicki Wilson

Sally and I took off on vacation to South Fork, Colorado with Erin in our little blue LUV pickup. This was the first vacation of any distance since Erin was born. We met up with David and Vicki who had left their daughter Chesney with Vicki's parents in Chillicothe, Texas.  While traveling, when Erin needed a nap, Sally or I would just crawl in camper shell on the foam mattress and lay with her as the other would just kept on driving. We ate really good while on the road... favorites like cheddar cheese and crackers, dried sausage and  cream wafers. Once we reached South Fork we stayed at the South Fork Motel and spent our time sight-seeing and fishing.  David and I fished for rainbow trout and I caught just enough trout to make me want to go back and try again. Sally and I loved Colorado summer.
