Hiked Mt Whitney(high point of California and highest point in lower 48 states) - 21.4 miles and 6750 foot elevation change. Climbing partners were Ed Waley and Glen Olinger. I hit a wall around 14000 feet(exhaustion and maybe some altitude sickness) and wouldn't have made it except that Ed talked me past it and I got alright after a long rest and lunch on the top. The summit had gorgeous views in all directions.
That's Whitney way off in the distance
