I have been wanting to start a blog and I thought "no better place to start" than with a picture of what is most precious to me... my family. This photo was taken at Easter. It was a miracle that all of us are sitting still and pretty much looking toward the camera. From left to right, back row... Front row..Haley Buskirk, Sally Evans, Grace Varnell, me and Lucy Varnell.When Sally and I married at the Fentress Methodist Church in 1971, having children was only a fleeting thought. We were saying "Someday we'll have kids". Now look where we are today. Time flies.

ReplyDeleteCoral snakes, really? And you think Dian will walk by the creek again! I almost had her convinced that Gruene was the place to be! I on the other hand find the place to be a rather good place to retire! We had a great time visiting you and Sally, and look forward to the next trip.
