Geronimo snow

Wow! It was exciting to wake up to a blanket of snow this morning. This was our first snow since moving to Geronimo.  I couldn't wait to get outside and take some photos and while I was there I just had to make a couple of snowballs.  Two snowballs later and my hands were freezing.  The slight numbness in my fingers reminded me of the time when I was in Jr High and it snowed while we were at school. We had this big snowball fight. I was throwing barehanded and making snowballs as fast as I could. I was having so much fun, that I couldn't make myself stop, even when I started losing the feeling in my fingers.   After awhile, I was making snowballs without using my useless fingers...I was patting the snow together with the palms of my hands. The school bell broke up our fanstasy world, and it sure felt nice and warm inside the building, but my fingers weren't coming back to life.  When it was time to go home at the end of the school day, I still didn't have any feeling in several fingers. It would be several days before I got all the feeling back in those fingers... I don't think that it was frostbite but it was real close.
