Bellissimo bambino nato

Kurt and Agata are the proud parents of our newest family member - Gabriel William Evans who was born 10/15/2011 at 7:55 P.M.  Our beautiful grandson weighed in  6 lbs 14 ozs and was 19 and 1/2 inches long.  Agata and Gabriel are doing great. It is so much fun to watch these first-time parents in action.  When entire conversations are about the number of pees and poops, you can't help but remember your own experiences and chuckle a little under your breath.  Agata's parents(Nella and Carmelo) arrived from Sicily last night and they will be helping with the baby for the next couple of weeks and then we will all get together on Halloween weekend to compare notes. 

In the photo comments, I will try using some short Italian phrases ... got to start somewhere if I hope to learn enough Italian to get by in Italy next summer. Translation corrections appreciated....
