This rock formation must have had a major significance for native Americans ...there were pictographs, petrogyphs and grinding holes
Pictographs
These grooved marks were abundant on the rocks... Does anyone know why the native people made these marks? I saw similar marks on the floor of a cave in Lewis Canyon near Pandale, Texas
Grinding hole.... That is solid rock....imagine the years of grinding that it took to wear down a hole in this rock to about 18 inches.
