Mount Washington, New Hampshire

We are in New England to see the beautiful fall foliage. Today we drove up the an auto toll road to the summit of Mt Washington which is the highest point in state of New Hampshire. It was rainy and foggy on the summit.

Notice the chains wrapped around the gift shop.... the summit gets some horrific winds. In the 1930s, the highest wind speed in the world was recorded from Mt Washington - 231 mph

If you didn't know already, I am doing the highpoint of every state in the contiguous Unites States. This was my 43rd state highpoint....
