We had a "ten alligator day" today. When we hike at Brazos Bend we like to keep track of the number of gators we spot. This day we hiked Forty Acre Lake trail and Spillway trail. Grand kids discovered that oyster shell was used like gravel to make roads and trails. Saw baby alligators. Spotted a Scarlet Tanager. They were mystified by Lotus Water Lily seedpods.
