Gabriel, Ryan and Luca fishing at San Luis Pass

Beautiful November Day for fishing at San Luis Pass...  It wasn't just about fishing.  They chased down blue crabs in the backwater area, took turns seining with Poppy and caught some amazing creatures. Discovered a secret spot where we could seine eating size shrimp. Watched how a flounder buries himself in the sand.  All in all, it was a glorious day in the outdoors.

That is going to be some nice size filets

Ryan found these little gelatinous sphere shaped organisms in the seine.  I was stumped ... It turns out that with the help of the internet, we learned that they are an organism called salps.  Thank goodness that they are harmless.

                                                Juvenile  flounder while seining

Gabriel put the lip hold on this Whiting - smallest fish hooked today

The juvenile flounder drew a lot of attention.

This black drum was almost as big as Luca
