The Ed/Cathy/Sally/Bill Dining guide to Austin

Shady Grove on June 10, 2014

Almost three years ago, we set out on an adventure with our long time friends, Ed and Cathy Waley.  The idea was to dine once a month in Austin at a different restaurant each time until we have tried them all. These trips are such a joy as we catch up with each other's lives and reminisce about our college days at Southwest Texas.

We take turns choosing the restaurants. We mostly try one of a kind restaurants ....national chains are mostly off our radar. If you have any recommendations, please send them our way.

Our almost complete list of restaurants that we have tried(our memories are slipping ever so slightly):

Moonshine Bar and Grill - Excellent
Roaring Fork - Excellent
Evangline's - Excellent - Live music and kind of loud but great Cajun food
Serrano's - excellent
Jack Allan's - Excellent -
