Arizona/Colorado/New Mexico vacation - August 2009

Started out by meeting friends, Erwin and Patricia Lehmann and daughter, Korey, in Flagstaff, Arizona for a hike of Humphrey Peak(highpoint of Arizona).  Success!

After leaving the Lehmann's, we went east to Albuquerque stopping at Winslow(yes, the Winslow that was made famous by the Eagle song "Taking it Easy" and the Petrified Forest.  Ann and Bruce Forester flew into Albuquerque to meet us and we all went to Santa Fe for a couple of nights....From there to a rent house near Twin Lakes, Colorado where we met up with Diane Peace and Laurie Bishop, The next day, Diane, Laurie and I  successfully climbed nearby Mt Elbert(highpoint of Colorado).

Later we spent time With Diane and husband, Tom, at their cabin in Crestone, Colorado.
