Grace's visit

Gracie spent a few days with Granny and Poppy, just her, all by herself.  She had a slight little smug grin when she was waving goodbye to Lucy who had to go back to school for a few more days.

Unlike those silly grandparents that spoil their grandkids, we just stuck to our normal routine... we created a new gravel bar by throwing an endless number of rocks into the creek, we shopped for groceries with mini-shopping carts and fished for magnetic fish at the Children's Museum, we rode the train at Landa park, we ran around the backyard naked(just kidding-that was only Gracie), we picked most of the purple wildflowers in the neighborhood, Granny took Grace to her school where her name became "Grace Purple", and we ate at our favorite places....
McDonald's and Chick-fi-la.

But by the end of each day, Grace needed to spread her wings and fly...After nap time,
she would start keeping an eye on the neighbor's trampoline. As soon as Kelly,
Taylor and Morgan came home and were in the backyard, she would join them for all kinds of bouncing games. On Tuesday, Grace wanted to have a party so she invited the neighbor girls for a 7:00 ice cream party. After Poppy served the ice cream and Granny provided more toppings than the Dairy Queen, we just backed out and let Grace become the hostess. They had a blast creating all kinds of new concoctions....
