Spring Break Lemonade Stand and more

Erin and the girls came to the creek for Spring Break activities:

Grace had been asking for a month to have a lemonade stand when she comes to our house at Spring Break. Who knows where she got the idea but once she had Granny and Poppy committed, she was very persistent. Lucy and friend, Katya, were her helpers...Thanks to all the neighbors who drowned themselves in lemonade to help make Grace's stand a success. This photo tells a great story as Lucy (I have no clue why she is wearing her bike helmet) is headed to the patrol car with lemonade. The patrolman stopped to say "hi" and Lucy came hurrying out to him with lemonade. When she got to the car, he told her that he didn't have any money for lemonade and Lucy being Lucy replied "That's ok, you don't have to pay!"  (Never know when you might need an officer to return a favor...)

For some reason there were hundreds of ladybugs visiting our yard and the girls loved catching them and counting spots.
