Observation beehive for Big Red Barn " Farm Heritage Center"

This observation beehive (originally built by duPont carpenter shop for Dudley School) which I had been holding onto for years is now got a new home. After loading it with honeybees and combs from a hive that I had received from Lawrence Wahl by way of Sherman Schlichting, the observation hive is on permanent display at the Big Red Barn.

For those that might not know...my interest in beekeeping stems from working with my Dad in our family beekeeping operation in Geronimo during the 1960s and 70s.
