Grand Canyon National Park

Finally getting around to putting Grand Canyon photos on blog.

We stayed just outside the park at Tusayan.  The park seemed crowded but according to the Rangers it will be much more crowded in a couple of weeks. For one day of our visit, a late season cold front brought rain and sleet and 29 degree temperature and that kept us mostly inside for the day.

We spent most of the rest of our time on the Rim Trail and the upper portion of the Bright Angel trail. The Grand Canyon is truly awesome!

From the Watch Tower at east end of park...That was our best look at the Colorado river.

Elk were everywhere
