I need help with identification???? I found this solid ball about the size of a ping pong ball near Troup, Texas while hunting for arrowheads. Could something this round be naturally occurring or was it man-made? A house had once existed in close proximity to where I found this object and it is possible that this object was a remnant from that household.
The equator of the ball was slightly smoother and lighter in color. A tiny piece of the ball was analyzed and found to be Calcium carbonate. Send your thoughts and ideas my way......
