Haley is a natural with the hot uncapping knife

Violet opens the extractor (centrifuge) gate for the honey to flow into the strainer.

When honey is ripe for storage and thus ready to be extracted... the bees seal the honeycomb with wax cappings which have to be removed so the honey can flow from the comb in the centrifuge.

With Luca looking on, Miles tries the uncapping knife.

Gabriel and Luca helped load the honeycombs into the centrifuge.
