Photo story of Florida vacation.
Florida has a multitude of natural springs that are open to the public and I love swimming in the cold clear water.
The water is so beautiful that you don't care about the freezing cold.
Great job Sally... captured me as I went for the hole where the water is jetting out of the ground.

Blue Spring near Deland is very popular
The Citrus Tower near Clarmont was built in 1956. From it's height, you could once view approximately 16 million citrus trees. Today, I couldn't spot even one orchard.

Fighting the current to reach the cave entrance
Ponce De Leon Spring was a bit crowded so no swim today.
The Donut King in Minneola is a must stop if you are in the area. It is open all day with awesomely delicious pastries.
Outside Mobile on old hwy 90 along Mobile Bay is referred to as Seafood Row. We first ate along the Row in 1973 when we made our first roadtrip to florida. On this trip, we ate at Ralph and Kacoo's which was previously Lap's. Hurricanes have taken a toll on the row of restaurants, but there is still some great seafood to be had.
Our friend, Joe Landis, put us onto Olde Time Grocery in Lafayette a couple of years ago and you don't want to miss out on their shrimp poorboy - It's Amazing!!!!!
Italian Wedding cookies referred to locally as cocoons. We didn't even get out of town before I finished off a half dozen. The only wedding cookie in the whole world that is better are Christina's Mexican Wedding cookies.
