Old iron bridge on Peach Creek

This old bridge might not be one of the "Bridges of Madison County"  but it is a priceless part of the local history. Once a month while collecting water quality samples (dirty job but somebody has to do it), Lee and I sample from this unique old iron bridge spanning  Peach Creek in Gonzales County....built by New Jersey Iron Works in 1910...
